JACKIE DETAMORE
Jackie has been a licensed architect in the Bay Area since 2006. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Master of Architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture + Design in San Diego. She enjoys creating spaces that suit our modern way of living.
Jackie is contributing a nice array of experiences having worked at a series of Bay Area firms focusing primarily on residential design prior to joining Studio Bergtraun. She has travelled extensively and lived abroad and now resides in Oakland with her husband and their two young sons.
MICHELLE SEGRE BERGTRAUN
Michelle was born and raised in Milano, Italy where she received her M.B.A from the Bocconi University. Since moving to the Bay Area she has worked in various Finance positions for companies like The North Face, Cost Plus and Macys giving her a broad understanding of the local retail environment before joining the studio 10 years ago. She handles all the financial and organizational aspects of the business adding a bit of Italian flair and "buon gusto" to the mix.
Michelle and Alex have found that blending their work and life together has enriched them both.
